TransAT can be applied to variety of waste-water types of plants: from traditional secondary clarifiers, to advanced Active Particles flocculation and ozonation systems. In traditional secondary-clarifiers systems, TransAT helps for basic dimensioning, loading and crapping mechanism. It uses for the purpose RANS models describing turbulent non-Newtonian fluid flow pattern and sediment-induced density currents. In ozonation systems, TransAT enables a detailed analysis of the mass transfer in water flows inside reactors. In PAC flocculation, new dedicated UDF’s have been built to help the users implement their own reaction models.
