TransAT Tutorial Manual                               10.1. Flow past a backward facing step


               10.1.7    Input Tab

                   • To set up the simulation parameters, click Input at the top of the TransATUI.

               The different tabs to define the parameters of the simulation can then be selected.


               Physical Models


                   • Select the Physical models tab

                   • Select the following equations in the Basic Equations section

                     Basic Equations :
                        Pressure       : ON
                        U Velocity     : ON
                        V Velocity     : ON
                        W Velocity     : OFF
                        Temperature    : OFF
                        Concentration : OFF


                   • Activate Reference Properties and click      to the right.

                   • Set the following parameters in the reference properties window then click  to save the
                     settings

                            Reference Pressure : 0
                            Reference Velocity : 1.0
                            Reference Length : 1.0
