TransAT Tutorial Manual 3.3. Turbulent Heat Flux Modelling

                   • Click to select the THF model and select THFM in the Correlation drop-down list.
This means that the THF equations will be explicitely solved for.

                   • Click to save the settings.

                   • Activate Gravity and click to the right.

                   • Set the following parameters in the gravity properties window then click to save the
                     settings

                        X: −9.81
                        Y: 0
                        Z : 0
                        Hydrostatic : OFF

                   • Activate Reference Properties and click to the right.

                   • Set the following parameters in the reference properties window then click to save the
                     settings
                        Reference Temperature : 300
                        Reference Velocity : 1
                        Reference Length : 1

                   • Click

                   • Enable Axisymmetry

Note that the reference properties only matter for the computation of non-dimensional numbers
and do not affect the simulations.

               Phase Properties
The Phase Properties tab is where the phases of the flow are defined.

                   • Click Phase Properties on the left-hand side of TransATUI
