• Activate the following variables in the Output Variables window then click to save the
settings and close the window

V−Velocity : ON
Geometry :

8.1.8 Execute Tab
This tab is where the simulation is started and controlled.
• Click Execute at the top of the TransATUI
8.1.8.1 Starting the simulation
Running TransAT
As 2 blocks have been defined during the grid generation, up to 2 processors can be used to
run the simulation.
• Set Number of Processors to 2
• Start the simulation by clicking
8.1.9 Visualisation of the results
The results of the simulation can be seen with the help of the open-source visualisation tool,
ParaView.
To launch ParaView, click Start and select All Programs > ParaView-4.0.1 > ParaView.
• Click on File − > Open.
• Navigate to your project folder.
• Navigate to the “RESULT” folder and choose the files xy-<projectname>.pvd for 2D visual-
ization in the x-y plane.
• Click OK .
• Choose the variable you want to visualize (e.g. P) from the drop-down list. (See Figure
6.5).
